A Thyroid-Boosting Juice Anyone With Inflammation or Hormone Imbalance Should Drink Once Per Week

The thyroid gland is an organ that is at the base of the neck. It produces and releases hormones which will keep your metabolism well and regulate different body functions. Some of those are:

  • Skin integrity
  • Breathing
  • Heart rate
  • Body weight
  • Body temperature
  • Muscle strength
  • Central and peripheral nervous system
  • Cholesterol level
  • Menstrual cycle

How the Thyroid Gland Works

The thyroid is a part of the endocrine system. This system contains glands that produce, store and release hormones in the blood and in this way they allow them to reach the body’s cells. This small gland utilizes the iodine from food sources to produce Triiodothyronine (T3) and Thyroxine (T4).

The hypothalamus produces TSH which is a hormone that signals the pituitary to tell the thyroid to produce less or more of T3 and T4. So, it promotes communication between the two to maintain T3 and T4 balance. So, when both the T3 and T4 levels are low in the blood then the pituitary gland will produce more THS to stimulate the production of thyroid hormones. Moreover, if these levels are high then the pituitary gland will release less TSH to the thyroid and it will slow down the production of thyroid hormones.

The most common thyroid condition is called hypothyroidism, which is a result of too little T3 and T4 in the body. The most common symptoms that accompany this condition are:

  • Depression
  • Dry skin and hair
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Sensitivity to cold temperature
  • Tiredness and fatigue
  • Joint pain
  • Frequent, heavy periods

Hyperthyroidism is also another condition which results from an overactive thyroid. This one is followed by symptoms like:

  • Anxiety
  • Hair loss
  • Hand trembling
  • Irritability or moodiness
  • Sweating or sensitivity to high temperatures
  • Missed or light menstrual periods
  • Nervousness, hyperactivity

The most common treatments for hyperthyroidism are medications, oral radioactive iodine, and surgery. However, there is still a natural way that can help you with this problem, and we are here to present it to you.

The Perfect Recipe to Help Your Thyroid

Cranberries are full of iodine, which is a mineral that is essential for the thyroid health and this is all because thyroid hormones are made up of iodine.

Vitamin C is obtained from lemon and orange juice which are full of antioxidants which will boost the thyroid health.

Ginger is the perfect source of magnesium, which is a mineral that can help in the regulation of thyroid disease.

Cinnamon is a strong anti-inflammatory agent which will lower the risk of hypothyroidism.

Cranberry Thyroid-Boosting Juice

The Ingredients:

  • 7 cups spring or filtered water
  • 1 cup 100% cranberry juice
  • 1/4 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3/4 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 tbsp dry ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp Ceylon cinnamon

They are absolutely beneficial for the human body, but toxic for insects and microorganisms. They Said Coconut Oil Was Great For You, But This Is What They Didn’t Tell You

Coconut oil is a popular nutritional oil derived from the meat of matured coconuts. Coconut has long been a primary source of food throughout the tropics. Its various industrial and cosmetic applications have made it a very viable commodity. Coconut oil is heat stable, making it suitable for cooking at high temperatures. It is slow to oxidize, resists rancidity and has a shelf life of approximately two years or more.

The main exporting countries are the Philippines, Indonesia, and India. Coconut oil makes up less than 3% of annual global vegetable oil production.

Coconut oil can be either Virgin or refined. Virgin coconut oil is usually expeller-pressed, meaning the oil is mechanically squeezed out of the coconut meat at room temperature. Refined oil is usually extracted using heat, chemicals and solvents that both increase the yield, and remove any coloration or odors.

Once castigated for its generous saturated fat content, coconut oil has been given a second life as a (gasp!) healthy fat. And while drinking it by the tablespoon still isn’t a great idea, you definitely should consider adding the oil to your diet.

Yes, coconut oil is almost 90 percent saturated fat, but not all sat fats are created equal. “The saturated fat in coconut oil is mostly lauric acid, a medium-chain saturated fatty acid that appears to have a more neutral effect on heart health when compared to longer-chain saturated fats found in meats and dairy products,” says Wendy Bazilian, R.D., author of The SuperFoodsRx Diet.

One Month Before Stroke, Your Body Will Send You These Warning Signs – Don’t Ignore Them!

Stroke can occur when a poor blood flow to the brain results in cell death. It is the no.5 cause of death in America and the leading cause of disability. There are two types of stroke: ischemic, caused by narrowing or blockage in the arteries which leads to the brain, and hemorrhagic, caused by reduced blood flow.

When the blood vessel that carries nutrients to the brain is ruptured by a clot or blocked, a part of the brain can’t get blood and oxygen that it needs to function and that consequently leads to cell death. The brain is a complex organ that controls numerous functions in the body, so when a stroke occurs and there is reduced blood flow to a certain part of the brain, some part or parts of the body that the affected part of the brain controls are not able to function properly.

Identifying the symptoms of stroke is very important in order to prevent the condition or get medical help on time so as to minimize the brain damage. This is also going to lower the risk of disability. According to the experts, the symptoms of stroke can vary from one person to another and depend on the type of stroke, the severity of the damage and the part of the brain affected. However, all stroke symptoms have one thing in common – they always occur suddenly.

Here are the most common symptoms of the condition:

Complete or partial paralysis;
Numbness in the left arm, leg or left side of the face;
Trouble speaking and understanding other people speaking;
Losing consciousness often;
Trouble seeing on one or both eyes;
Hiccups;
Dizziness;
Breathing problems;
Pain;
Epileptic attacks;
Hallucinations;
Personality changes.
